[ENGLISH] When there is no hurry, everything comes at the perfect time.
At the end of April, MYRY invited me to dance in the music video for her new song ‘Not Urgent’. I didn’t hesitate: I immediately said yes. Having danced in music videos before, for Ben Henry Edwards in 2021 and Asha Parkinson in 2022, I was thrilled to collaborate with a singer-songwriter again. So on the first Sunday of May, I joined MYRY in London for a long afternoon of shooting.
Behind the camera, Michael Mendones captured the moments and movements MYRY and I had set in advance, as well as countless rounds of improvisation to the song. I had fun grooving freely to MYRY’s music, firstly alone, then half-hidden behind her. Swirling as if I was her shadow, and finally moving with her, I took the time to enjoy every beat.
Nothing urgent here, but I hope it won’t be 3 years until I dance in a music video again!

Fin avril, MYRY m’a proposé de danser dans le clip de sa nouvelle chanson “Pas Urgent”. Je n’ai pas hésité : j’ai immédiatement dit oui. Ayant déjà dansé dans des clips pour Ben Henry Edwards en 2021 et Asha Parkinson en 2022, j’étais ravie de collaborer à nouveau avec une chanteuse et autrice-compositrice. Le premier dimanche de mai, j’ai donc rejoint MYRY à Londres pour une longue après-midi de tournage.
Derrière la caméra, Michael Mendones enregistrait les moments et mouvements que MYRY et moi avions préparés, ainsi que d’innombrables improvisation sur sa chanson. Je me suis bien amusée à bouger librement sur la musique de MYRY, d’abord seule, puis à demi cachée derrière elle. Virevoltant comme si j’étais son ombre, et finalement dansant avec elle, j’ai pris le temps de profiter de chaque pulsation de la chanson.
Rien d’urgent ici, mais j’espère ne pas devoir attendre 3 ans avant de danser dans un autre clip musical !
